With an award winning and celebrated career, a proud history of charity work and community support, Jim is first and foremost a people person. His greatest purpose is helping people, using his 28 years of finance industry experience.

Jim heralds from Mt Eccles in the Strzelecki Ranges, his family’s farm, and probably the only qualified butter maker.

A self-described “benevolent farmer”, Jim has a strong affinity with the land and the family farm is like tribal ground, from which springs a deep love for the bush and the country as well as those that work the land.

Jim appreciates the challenges associated with farming and values being able to interact with his clients at a grass roots level. Jim knows small business. He takes the utmost care to engage with his clients, to understand their needs and to become invested in their future success.

Jim is an advocate for mental health issues in rural Australia and is proudly involved in a number of charitable and non-charitable organisations. Giving back to the community that has supported him over the years, in both farming and business, Jim is focused on developing charitable contributions to the community and undertakes pro bono work to help those less fortunate.

Jim is passionate about agriculture, small business, and financial planning and making a positive difference to other people’s lives.
